Damian Maib

Damian Maib is the founder and CEO of Genuine, an e-commerce and social media agency, that takes over the entire value chain to the Chinese end customer, from strategy to implementation. Well-known companies such as cosnova (essence and catrice), beiersdorf, dm and many more trust his team in Shanghai and Berlin. Genuine helps international brands, particularly from Germany, succeed in China's market. In 2024, Damien had the privilege of welcoming Germany’s Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his delegation to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing German companies in China. Additionally, he is the host of the “Made in China” podcast and is a WHU Alumni.
