Dr. h.c. Florian Homm, MBA, is Germany's most well-known hedge fund manager. Throughout his career, Homm has been awarded Europe's Hedge Fund Manager of the Year three times, named Best U.S. Specialist Fund Manager, and recognized multiple times as the Best European Fund Manager and Best German Fund Manager.

Homm worked as an analyst, proprietary trader, and fund manager at Merrill Lynch, Fidelity, Tweedy, Browne, and Bank Julius Baer before becoming a billionaire as a financial entrepreneur and hedge fund manager.

His positive, absolute, relative, and audited performance during the stock market crashes of 1987 and 2002, as well as the corrections in 1990 and 1994, is unique in Europe. His successful short-selling speculations on Bremer Vulkan, MLP, and WCM are well-documented.
